The frames are weightless! Also a bit flexible. They are very comfortable and stay in place, even though I thought they did not seem snug. I like the shape for my face and that they are not trendy. A LOT more spendy than the Oakley's I was opting for. The triangle-shaped case is very protective, but the shape is awkward to fit into a purse or tote pocket. A microfiber sock/lens cleaner was not included as in the past.Hard to explain; I've worn polarized RayBan sunglasses for years and never knew what I was missing. Trying the Maui Jim Twin Falls sunglasses in store multiple times, I immediately became a fan primarily due to the wider, comfortable fit on my face and the ultra lightweight design. Still, the thought of dropping $229 on a new pair of sunglasses wasn't overly appealing to me. So I waited and waited until my wife bought a pair of Maui Jims and couldn't stop talking about how great they were. When the price dropped to $190, I ordered my Twin Falls and let me tell you, taking them out of the box, putting them on, and going outside on a bright sunny Florida day to walk the dog (something I've done for years countless times before) was an epiphany; a moment of sudden revelation or insight! I was blown away by the clarity and vividness of the Maui Jims! Again, I had no idea while tryng the Twin Falls on in the stores. Wearing them outside in the sun was unbelievable! Seeing IS believing!I wanted a pair of sunglasses to wear for outdoor activities, primarily beach volleyball, running, hiking. I don't like the look of super-sporty/obnoxious glasses out in the market, so I really liked the look of these basic black frames. The lenses are slightly silver, but still subtle. The best part is that they are feather-light, barely feel them on your face. The adjustable nose pads are discreet and keep the glasses from sliding down no matter how sweaty I get. Even when the sun is directly above me, there is minimal gap at the top between my forehead and the frames, so I don't even need a visor or hat. Maui Jim's are always crystal clear, it doesn't even feel like you are wearing any glasses. These are the best active sunglasses. Now I just need a dressy pair that go with my regular outfits.I purchased these as a replacement for my Maui Jim's that were 19, yes that's 19, years old! While the new pair feels as comfortable as the old, they are no way as well constructed as my original. Given the price, I expected similar quality. I'd estimate that I'll be lucky to get a few years wear from the new sunglasses before having to replace them. I'll look to other brands the next time around.When I received the sunglasses the box was in terrible condition and the sunglasses were dirty and looked used! So disappointedI have had many high-end sunglasses and these have just met my expectations the best. They are lightweight and soothing to the eyes. I would recommend them if you want an all-around great pair of sunglassesNice glasses although a bit pricey. Unfortunately they were WAY to large for me. I would say that they are more suited to a male due to their size. Wish they came in small and large.This is the second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses I have owned. The first pair lasted 8 years, before the glass lenses cracked where the lens was attached to the frame ear pieces. I like the looks of these glasses and how they make my eyes feel. They have a very slight mirrored lens look, which I don't like, but it certainly doesn't affect performance. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars, is because they are a bit pricey.It was shipped from Austrilia in time and arrived in perfect condition. I love it because it is exactly the same with my original one which was damaged with one of the legs by an accident.
