This product has worked for about a year and a half of moderate use. The hook and loop system no longer works, and when I bend my arm it pops off. The issue is clearly with the loops, as the hooks gladly adhere well to other parts of the sleeve.Prior to this, I had used a Cold One 3 in 1, and it lasted less than a year and a half. The hook and loop system on that one still works, but it has built-in bubbles holding the cooling, and over time those lost their contents. The packs from this system seem to still be doing fine. This wrap is a bit larger than the wrap from the Cold One.I have cobbled together the two systems by cutting open the Cold One, replacing the built-in bubbles with the cold pack from the ActiveWrap. So far so good, I will see how long it lasts!Using it for heat is a bit more effort. The inserts have hook and loop openings, and you need to open the pack, take out the insert, immerse it in water and then microwave it. Then you dry it off, put it back in the sleeve, and then you can use it. I neglected to use the water when I first tried it, and even though I was checking it every 10 seconds, the package ruptured. Water is required!
