I have a tendency to carry my stress in my shoulders, this helps immensely with my shoulder pain.Soft and soothing, this weighted neck wrap is just what I need for helping myself relax at night. I am very anxious and restless in the evenings. I have also tried countless techniques to calm down: deep breathing, distracting myself, etc but nothing really works. My mom suddenly had to leave us when I was 5 and these weighted products help me feel a sense of security and anchored-ness when I need it. I keep a small wrap on my lap at work. The concept isn't that much different than a compression vest for dogs with separation anxiety or service dogs who lie on an owner having a panic attack to provide a calming effect.Very good shoulder weight comfort while working from home.I purchased this for a person with severe Dementia that seems to get a little anxious. I've found for that if I lay it on her chest she tends to relax a little. For winter time I will be looking for a weighted lap blanket. Works great so far.I purchased the 4 lb version in order to alternately hold ice packs and my heating pad firmly against my shoulder after surgery. It works great for that purpose. It’s not too heavy and the pressure feels good, especially with the heat or cold.This works well to help ground me when I feel anxious. The weight is nice on the shoulders or across the chest.Fit very well. No worries about it slipping off when you move. Weight is just right. Muscles relax almost immediately. And very soft.I purchased this for a friend with shoulder issues and her life has totally changed! She can now move her shoulder 90% more than she could!Awesome
